Alright Already!

PLEASE! - Stop with the election emails!

Windows makes a little chime whenever mail arrives in my inbox and it has been playing non-stop for days now.

It must be getting near to election time.

Inside Buffalo has been receiving numerous emails about the Town-wide election upcoming on April 7, 2009 asking who Inside Buffalo is going to endorse in this upcoming election.

It appears that Onside Buffalo, incorrectly referred to as Inside Buffalo’s “sister” site by obtuse posters on the blog therein, is endorsing certain candidates for Town positions.


Here are the facts:

I know little about any of the candidates bar one, knowing that one candidate quite intimately.

I’ve asked many Buffalo residents what they think of each aspirant, simply seeking their opinion. As the age old adage goes: “Opinions are like belly buttons, everybody’s got one!”

Based on the responses printed in the Harper County Journal and the huge check each of the named candidates sent us as bribery (only kidding), Inside Buffalo is endorsing the following:

Terry Johnson, Alexis Thompson, Michael Duncan & David Orange

No, they’re not a law firm but they are new, fresh, competent, experienced in an assortment of fields necessary to assist with decisions regarding Buffalo’s future, and don’t appear to be swayed by internal influences. Yes, I wrote: “Internal Influences”
