ESCAPES BUFFALO!
Buffalo's Police Chief (applicants for the vacant position beware) has been run out of town by the faction. They succeeded in getting him to resign, pack up his belongings, put his home and other properties on the market and LEAVE Buffalo. And, he's slamming the door behind him on the way out!
Not even on the job a year, short by a few months, he has had enough. "These people here are crazy!" was the sentiment amongst those gathered to bid adios to the Chief Amigo and his kin this past weekend.
After being part of the Nationwide exposure to problems here in Buffalo with the "baby's death" case covered on the Steve Wilkos TV Show & Channel 4 KFOR TV's broadcast of the DUNG house, the Chief and the notoriety is now gone. Kaput!
Okay, maybe some of what we've written in this editorial is fictional. The part about the faction running him out of town... that's a bunch of bull spit. Didn't happen. They'd like to think that's what happened but some know the facts. His father is quite ill and he and his family wanted to be closer to his Dad. That's the OFFICIAL reason for his resignation.
There is a SPECIAL BOARD meeting of Trustees scheduled for next week to address the dilemma.
The BLOG is rife with bantering and speculation. Rampant is the gossip, hearsay, and rumors.
The Town of Buffalo's Trustees have spent over $100,000.00 to procure themselves a Police Chief and vehicle, equipment, radar, uniforms and the like in the last few months all for... NAUGHT.
Lesson Learned? UNLIKELY!
Onto a new hire or back to the old system. Either way, what a great job has been done in the last year by our Town's elected. Like we said many times...it's a comedy!
