First Amendment Dead in Buffalo?

Evidently FREE PRESS, the First Amendment to our Constitution and the Bill of Rights are not welcomed by a few choice people in Buffalo, Oklahoma.
More importantly, it appears that printing the truth and an opinion is allowed everywhere in this Country but not in Buffalo Oklahoma.

For those of you who may have forgotten why it is that you are allowed to move about freely, speak freely and share your infinite knowledge and wisdom while sitting around the coffee table first thing in the morning, the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights is printed below.

It appears that those who take umbrage at the facts are conspiring to eliminate this publication and web-site.

A senior hospital administrator personally chastised one of our advertisers threatening to cease doing business with the advertiser if they continued promoting their business in Inside Buffalo Magazine. One can only assume this person is unhappy that the deal with the Town of Buffalo over the doctor’s clinic was made public.

Another business person was told by a regular customer that they will not be doing business with them again.

We digress - For the Record...
We're not against a doctor nor are we against the hospital.
BUT - We are for forthrightness and for sharing a point-counterpoint view. Every story or incident has two sides. Inside Buffalo will usually take the opposite side to get people thinking. And we're accomplishing that goal.
If you're reading this then you are thinking! Share your opinion in places other than at the local round table discussion or at the cafe'. It takes GUTS to print the facts, the truth, and to put one's opinion in writing. Especially when it's against a community leader's view or against those who are in charge of a public trust.
The fact is Inside Buffalo's editorial staff is for the new doctor!
The doctor has shared a discussion or two with many of us and is extremely likable. We also have no objections whatsoever to a new clinic, just not the way it was done and handled.
There wouldn't have been offers by private residents, more than just those listed in the article below, who stepped forward offering to assist the hospital with private funding for a clinic if it wasn't what is considered a 'good thing' for Buffalo. We are, however, totally against the way it was handled and the lack of openness.

Buffalo's Economic Development Director said everyone (reiterated twice) he's spoken with is for the bailout of the hospital. He was asked, have these 'everyone' people ever had a chance at hearing the other side, the dissenting opinion? He acknowledge that they most likely had not. The question is, then... Would these people be so solidly behind the Town's decision if they had heard the other side of the story, the dissenting view? And... have these people ever been afforded the opportunity to hear the other side or another opinion on the matter? The question is not rhetorical and you know the answer.
All the population of the U.S. would be Republican if it weren't for the "other sides", the Democrats or Independents. Everyone would be wearing black colored clothing if it weren't for the other colors availabe as a choice.
Simply put - give these people the opportunity to hear all of the story, including a dissenting view and allow them to make their decision for or against a Town Board decision based on real facts.
End of Digression
